After a wayward start to life on Órë, including under-age drinking with his cousin and a one-night stand with some girl that resulted in the birth of his daughter, Gil-galad has settled down some. He is a post-graduate student at Ossiriand Unversity and is sharing a dorm with two of his best friends (who happen to be his aunt and great-aunt, respectively).
Gil-galad took another knock in recent times when he learned that his father is not, in fact, his biological father. Fortunately, he hasn't yet learned who his father is (and just how intimately related he is to the mother of his child).
Gil-galad's still smiling (for now).
